Hello Fannin Falcons,
Fannin is a very special school within Bryan ISD. We are the site of the very first school in Bryan. We first opened our doors in 1880. Since then there have been lots of changes in education but it is important that we continue to honor our history and heritage.
It is even more important that our students are prepared for success in the 21st century. As we teach minds and touch hearts, everyone at Fannin strives to exhibit the 6 pillars of character which are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
Parents are the strongest influence in our students' lives. It is important that parents and teachers work together for our children. One powerful way to support each other is through PTO. Fannin PTO meets regularly and I encourage all parents to participate.
The focus of the PTO is to help support Fannin teachers and students so we can work together to give kids the best school experiences possible.
Additionally, attendance is very important for Fannn students. We begin school promptly at 7:45 am and start dismissing students at 2:45. Please be sure that your student is at school and on time so they do not miss any learning.
There are many ways that all of us can help our students and school. If you are interested in volunteering or have questions, please call me at 979-209-3800 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am eager to have Fannin students achieve great things as we all help Bryan ISD continue to be a very special community.
